Mike Nahas – Inventor
Mike Nahas, who is a 30 year drywall veteran, was troubled by how long it took to hang drywall and how much waste was left over from each job. Tapping into his inventive imagination, he figured out a way to speed up the process of measuring, cutting and finishing drywall jobs. He invented the RockCleat™, a simple wallboard fastener that neatly fits on the end of each wallboard joining the two together. Mike’s goal when he set to launch this product was to put more cash into the hands of the contractor by showing them how to do their job more efficiently.
Alan is a seasoned professional in commercial outdoor products and has 20 plus years of experience in extruding plastic lumber. Alan is very excited to learn about the drywall industry and help the contractors make the right switch to RockCleat™. Alan says, “It’s never too late to teach an old dog new tricks.”
David is pretty familiar with how easy it is to put a hole in a piece of drywall but did not understood how difficult it was to hang it or fix it. Mike Nahas changed that and after one short conversation, David understood the value this product introduced to the drywall contractor. Now he is driven by the goal of changing the way the drywall contractors approach their work. He wants to know… “Will you take the RockCleat™ challenge?”
